NH Author Donna Ciocca Featured In National Weekly Magazine

MANCHESTER, NH –New Hampshire author Donna Ciocca of Concord, NH, is featured in the current (May 17) issue of Woman’s World that went on the stands today.
Ciocca, a 7th grade science teacher at Rundlett Middle School in Concord, is the author of Harley & Homer, published by Oak Manor Publishing, Inc., of Manchester (www.oakmanorpublishing.com) and printed by Minuteman Press of Nashua.
The Woman’s World article hails Ciocca for writing to attempt to get more kids, especially boys, aged 10 to 14 to read and compares the antics of Harley and Homer to Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn .Ciocca is pictured with four of her students. |
Publisher John Greene, owner of Oak Manor and Minuteman Press of Nashua, said his daughter Lauren, now an 8th grader, came home last year and told him, “Dad you have to meet Mrs. Ciocca and publish her book.”
“And so I did,” said Greene.
